Duties of Vice Dean of Education and Students Affairs
- Work to educate the student about the university’s rules and regulations and the executive rules related to the student.
- Helping students choose the appropriate specialization for them from among the college’s various programs
- Supervise curricular and non-curricular programs and activities offered to students and work on developing and updating them
- Develop the necessary procedures to control student attendance and follow up on their regularity.
- Building databases related to the student and working to update them, taking care of the student’s rights and taking the necessary means to preserve them
- Studying students’ complaints and problems, proposing appropriate solutions, and coordinating with the relevant authorities in the college.
- Studying student cases committees and participating in disciplinary committees for violating students and applying legal procedures against them.
- Spreading the culture of academic advising in the college and proposing a plan for student advising in the college
- Proposing a plan for student activities in the college and supervising its implementation.
- Work to build links with graduates, support their access to appropriate jobs, and follow up graduates to find out the satisfaction of employers in the labor market with the outputs of the college.
- Work to raise the efficiency of work in student affairs, prepare a comprehensive report on student affairs in the college, and submit it to the dean of the college, and work to implement the tasks delegated to him by the college council or its dean.
- Approval of exam results in accordance with established regulations and policies.
- Approving study schedules for the academic departments in the college and supervising the implementation of study plans for the college and its various scientific departments.
- Contribute to raising the efficiency of faculty members in the teaching and learning processes.
