To achieve excellence our vision is to contribute with other departments in graduation of highly qualified pharmacists who are aware with the relevance of microbiology in different pharmaceutical fields. Additionally, we are looking forward to construct and develop of research programs that help to solve the community problems and improving the performance of pharmaceutical companies in quality control and production of pharmaceutical products.

Mission

• Spreading basic knowledge of microbiology, microbial genetics, immunology, parasitology, biotechnology, microbial diseases and their treatment among undergraduate students.
• Spreading basic knowledge of advanced microbiology, molecular biology, industrial biotechnology, control of sterile pharmaceutical products among post graduate students.
• Conducting research on pathogenic bacteria, fungi, and viruses, and production of important pharmaceutical products.
