Pharmacology & Biochemistry Department

Activities of pharmacology and Biochemistry

  • The forms and methods of students activities in the department vary between presentations , posters, videos or awareness brochures for scientific topics determined by the faculty members and their assistants in the department.
  • Many different student activities were done in coordination with the medicinal chemistry ( Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry)

Pharmacology 1
(Pharmacy 2015)

Various activities of the students were presented and evaluated by external professors in the presence of the Dean, a group of professors delegated to the courses of pharmacology and biochemistry and the distinguished members of the department.  Each group of students made a presentation for each group, then the faculty members discussed the students in the scientific material that was presented. 2021-2022

Spring 2022-2023

Toxicology and Forensic Chemistry

The students of the fourth level, the (Pharm D program) made an awareness brochure about poisoning with some medicines and substances that we deal with daily, with the symptoms of poisoning, diagnosis and treatment.

Journal Club (2022-2023)

The supervising faculty members met with the students regularly to discuss and critically analyze the latest articles and scientific papers in various specialties.

A specific topic in a specific specialty is chosen to be presented after being approved by the supervisors.

The club aims to keep abreast of the latest scientific developments in various fields and develop scientific thinking and critical analysis among students.

Under the supervision of members of the department:
