Under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Magda Nasr (Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy and Vice President of the University), the Department of Pharmacognosy at the Faculty of Pharmacy, led by Prof. Dr. Amal Abdel Hamid Galala and supervised by the faculty members and the department’s assistant staff, organized the student activity for Phytochemistry-1 for the academic year 2023-2024. The activity included student presentations on various chemical compounds isolated from natural and plant sources, their medical uses, and their effective impact on the human body, in addition to discussing the side effects of these compounds and their pharmaceutical forms available in pharmacies. The faculty members and assistant staff engaged in discussions with the students to ensure their full understanding of the information presented.
