Under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Magda Nasr (Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy and Vice President of the University), the Department of Pharmacognosy at the Faculty of Pharmacy, led by Prof. Dr. Amal Abdel Hamid Galala and supervised by the faculty members and the department’s assistant staff, organized the student activity for Pharmacognosy 2for the academic year 2023-2024. The activity involved the presentation about various natural compounds with medical effects, including their natural sources, chemical structures, medical uses, pharmacological effects, side effects, and a review of some of their commercial names. The professors discussed the presented information with the students to ensure their thorough understanding of the scientific material, and everyone praised the students’ outstanding performance in the presentations.
