Activities of the Department of Microbiology and Immunology
The Department of Microbiology and Immunology organized a scientific day to present the activities of the students for the various subjects of the department, which are (General microbiology and Immunology – Pharmaceutical microbiology- Medical microbiology). I got explanatory information about the scientific content required of each of them, and special prizes were given to the distinguished groups.
General Microbiology and Immunology
The students made awareness brochures about diseases caused by microorganisms, their causes and methods of treatment – or brochures about antibiotics and microbes, their uses in treatment, their method of action and their side effects. The students also printed these brochures and distributed them within the university campus. Awareness publications on social media platforms have been awarded certificates. And prizes for distinguished groups
Pharmaceutical Microbiology
The students produced educational brochures about diseases caused by microorganisms, their causes and methods of treatment – or brochures about antibiotics and microbes, their uses in treatment, their method of action and their side effects. Students also printed these brochures and distributed them on campus.
Parasitology
The students made a presentation of a specific parasite in a scientific way, including the disease caused by the parasite, its symptoms, diagnosis, methods of treatment, and how to prevent it.
Pharmaceutical Biotechnology
The students did scientific research and presented a presentation for this research. They also created educational brochures and scientific posters on the topics required of them.
