Report on the Participation of the Faculty of Pharmacy - Horus University in the "Step on the Way" Conference in its Seventeenth Edition
Within the framework of the keenness of the Faculty of Pharmacy – Horus University to enhance academic cooperation and develop students’ skills, the Vice Deans of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Horus University, Prof. Sahar Refaat Gedara, (Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development), Prof. Magda Abdel Aziz (Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs), Prof. Dr. Abdel Aziz Elgamal (Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research), Assistant Prof. Dr. Ahmed Essam Khoder (Director of the Training Unit and Official of the Scientific Society) and students of the Scientific Society at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Horus University (EPSF) participated in the opening of the conference ” A Step on the Way” in its seventeenth edition, at the Faculty of Pharmacy, New Mansoura University, on Monday, 27-1-2025 in the Grand Conference Hall, which is organized by the Scientific Society for Students of the Faculty of Pharmacy EPSF.
The opening was also attended by many students of faculties of pharmacy in Egyptian public and private Universities and many deans, vice deans and faculty members in faculties of pharmacy as well as many pharmaceutical companies.
One of the most important objectives of the conference was to develop the skills of pharmacy students and qualify them for the labor market in various disciplines. The conference included many theoretical lectures and educational workshops. The conference also provided students with an opportunity to expand their professional network and exchange ideas with their colleagues from all over the Republic.
Students of the Scientific Society of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Horus University (EPSF) participated in various events and workshops. The conference shed light on linking the academic side with the professional side, the developments in the pharmaceutical labor market and the requirements for practicing the profession considering the latest global developments in the field of pharmacy, pharmaceutical industry and health care.
The conference concluded with the presentation of recommendations and honoring the participants and organizers. The administration of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Horus University stressed the importance of continuing to participate in such events to exchange experiences, which contributes to preparing a distinguished generation of pharmacists capable of competing effectively in the labor market.
