Where the members of the teaching staff and the supporting staff of the department organized a scientific day for the students. 

The activities started by reviewing the use of modern technology in teaching analytical chemistry courses using artificial intelligence models, holograms and virtual reality.

This was followed by examining students’ projects and models, and the participation of specialized faculty members and students of different levels in evaluating students’ work.

External Visits

Today, Tuesday, August 23, 2022, the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry – Majoring in Analytical Chemistry – faculty of Pharmacy, received four foreign students from different faculties of pharmacy in Romania, Indonesia and Palestine within the student exchange programs of the Scientific Society at Horus University EPSF-HUE.

– Dr. Hisham Sameh and Dr. Aya Saad gave a theoretical lecture on HPLC device and how it works, explaining its most important uses and analyzing the data obtained from it.

– Dr. A. Merei and Dr. A. Roshdy conducted a practical and training experiment for female students on the device, where it was possible to determine the compound; Acetylsalicylic acid (Aspirin) in its pure form and tablets. It is worth mentioning that the students gave positive feedback and expressed happiness about the scientific day.
