Clinical Biochemistry
Level 4 pharm D students: Student created a brochure and carried out an awareness campaign about various diseases, methods of diagnosing and identifying them through conducting various medical tests inside the university campus. The awareness campaign included distributing pamphlets at various student levels and publishing on social media, Facebook. The groups that arrived to the awareness campaign aims were honored by the department.
Clinical Nutrition
Level 4 pharm D students: students made a brochure and presentation on various topics related to clinical nutrition such as Vegan diet and keto diet.
(Spring 2022-2023)
Biochemistry (1)
Level 2 pharm D students made presentations on various topics related to biochemistry, where they dealt with the biological composition of many proteins, enzymes and carbohydrates that play an important role in the vital functions within the human body, as well as their importance and diseases related to them.
Biochemistry (2)
level 2 clinical students conducted an awareness campaign that dealt with all the biological analyzes in terms of the procedure, the appropriate sample for conducting the analysis, the importance of that analysis, its significance to identify different diseases and how to avoid the wrong result of the analysis. The campaign included publishing on social media Facebook and printing the content in the form of brochures and spreading awareness among students and members of the faculty and the distribution of pamphlets containing information on campus.
Journal Club (2022-2023)
The supervising faculty members met with the students regularly to discuss and critically analyze the latest articles and scientific papers in various specialties.
A specific topic in a specific specialty is chosen to be presented after being approved by the supervisors.
The club aims to keep abreast of the latest scientific developments in various fields and develop scientific thinking and critical analysis among students.
Under the supervision of members of the department:
