Fall semester 2023-2024

Phytotherapy

The fifth level students of the Pharm D list, under the supervision of the teaching staff and the assistant staff of the Department of Pharmacology, and within the framework of keenness to link the student to the labor market, created a herbal pharmacy that includes many medicinal plants with therapeutic effects. The pharmacy included many plants in their green and ground form in addition to the pharmaceutical forms available in the drug market so that the student can become familiar with the medicines of natural origin that are already present in the market and learn about their medical and therapeutic uses in addition to their side effects and some conflicts with other medicines or food. The students also made presentations about some herbal formulas available in the markets.

The scientific activity of the course also included the application of Roleplay and Flip learning in the laboratories to ensure that students are familiar with the scientific content and to develop their ability to present information in an organized and simplified manner under the supervision of the teaching staff and the assistant staff in the Department of Pharmacology.
